Euphorbia Ingens
Common Name: Candelabra Tree

Euphorbia Ingens is a bold, sculptural succulent tree that adds height, drama, and desert vibes to any collection. With its thick, upright branches and classic candelabra form, this species can grow into a towering specimen under the right conditions—indoors or out.

Native to southern Africa, Euphorbia ingens has smooth, bright green stems with 3–5 prominent ribs lined with short spines. It’s often mistaken for a cactus due to its form, but like all Euphorbias, it produces a latex sap when cut or damaged. In full sun, the stems may take on a subtle bronzed or reddish tint, especially during dry spells.

☀ Light Requirements
Thrives in full sun to bright, indirect light. Outdoors, it’s happiest in hot, dry locations. Indoors, place near a bright window and rotate regularly for even growth.

💧 Watering Needs
Water only when the soil is bone dry. This Euphorbia prefers deep, infrequent watering and is extremely drought-tolerant. Reduce watering in winter.

🌡 Temperature Tolerance

Sensitive to frost. Keep above 40°F and protect from cold drafts or wet winter soil. For colder climates or winter shipping, consider adding a [Heat Pack].

✨ Special Features
Tall & Tree-Like – Can reach up to 6–8 ft indoors with time and care.
Easy Care – Thrives in neglect, heat, and dry air.
Desert Showstopper – A must-have centerpiece for large containers or dry gardens.

Other Common Names:
