Haworthia 'Miami'
Common Name: Miami Haworthia
Haworthia 'Miami' is a beautiful and distinctive cultivar, known for its compact rosette of chubby, semi-translucent leaves often adorned with glassy “window” tips and soft striping. Its chunky, low-profile form and muted green to olive tones give it a refined, modern look that pairs perfectly with minimalist pottery or collector trays.
This cultivar is slow-growing but easy to care for—perfect for growers who appreciate detail and subtlety. Under strong filtered light, the leaf tips may blush slightly or reveal more prominent patterns.
☀ Light Requirements
Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Avoid intense direct afternoon sun, which can scorch or fade the translucent leaf tissue. Morning light is ideal.
💧 Watering Needs
Water only when soil is completely dry. Haworthias prefer less water than other succulents and thrive in well-draining soil. Reduce watering during winter dormancy.
🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Best kept above 40°F. Protect from frost. For colder zones or winter shipping, consider adding a [Heat Pack].
✨ Special Features
• Chubby Rosette Form – Short, fleshy leaves with a compact, symmetrical shape
• Windowed Leaf Tips – Semi-translucent ends allow filtered light into the leaf interior
• Easy Care – A slow-growing but hardy cultivar, ideal for small pots and tight spaces
