Aloe ‘Frontier’
Common Name: Frontier Aloe
Aloe ‘Frontier’ is a bold, eye-catching hybrid aloe known for its toothed leaf edges, vivid coloring, and compact rosette form. The thick, fleshy leaves are typically a rich green to coppery red, often accented by striking raised tubercles or bumpy texture along the surface, making this cultivar a standout in any succulent collection.
When grown in bright light, Aloe ‘Frontier’ develops intense hues—ranging from deep green and rusty bronze to glowing red—especially in cooler temperatures or under light stress. A compact grower, it's perfect for containers, dish gardens, or sunny windowsills.
☀ Light Requirements
Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Can tolerate some direct sun, which brings out its strongest colors. If growing indoors, place near a south or west-facing window.
💧 Watering Needs
Water thoroughly when soil is completely dry. Avoid overwatering or letting water sit in the rosette. Reduce watering during winter or dormant periods.
🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Protect from frost; best kept above 35°F. For cold climates or winter orders, a [Heat Pack] is recommended.
