Echinopsis - Huascha v. Grandiflorus - 1 Gallon
Echinopsis Huascha v. Grandiflorus previously known as Lobivia grandiflora or Trichocereus grandiflorus, has glorious crimson flowers. It has short reddish spines about 1/4 in. (1 cm long)
It is a basally branching columnar cactus that grows to aprox 6-35 in. (15-90 cm) tall.
It typically has 12 to 18 ribs. Areoles which are whitish brown about 1/4" (1 cm) apart. It's spines are needle-like, subulate, unequal, yellowish to brownish.
The main feature of this cactus is its Flowers: Diurnal, funnelform, 3-4 in. (7-10 cm) long, mostly bright red produced near the end of the stems. Throat dark red, filaments fuchsia.

WATER: Only when dry
NATIVE: Argentina
This cactus will ship bare root and will be ready to place directly in a well draining soil mix like our Custom Cactus Mix.

If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order.
If temperatures where you live will be much lower than 20℉ even heat packs may not work. You may consider waiting until things warm up a bit. We know you love your plants just like we do and we wouldn't want any of them to freeze.
