With its unique rosette-shaped foliage and distinctive patterns, Gasteria adds a touch of elegance to any indoor or outdoor space. This resilient succulent is not only visually stunning but also easy to care for, making it an ideal choice for both beginners and experienced succulent lovers.

Gasteria showcases a rosette growth habit, with thick, fleshy leaves arranged in an attractive spiral pattern. The leaves vary in color and texture, ranging from vibrant greens to deep shades of burgundy. This distinctive form adds a visually appealing element to your plant collection.

Water: Gasteria has low to moderate water requirements. It is important to allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings to prevent overwatering. Aim to water the plant thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, and adjust watering frequency based on the season and environmental conditions.

Light: Gasteria thrives in bright, indirect sunlight. While it can tolerate some direct sunlight, it is best to provide it with filtered or partial shade to prevent leaf burn. Place your Gasteria near a window with bright, indirect light or in a shaded area of your garden to ensure optimal growth.

This cactus will ship bare root and will be ready to place directly in a well draining soil mix like our Custom Cactus Mix.

If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order.
If temperatures where you live will be much lower than 20℉ even heat packs may not work. You may consider waiting until things warm up a bit. We know you love your plants just like we do and we wouldn't want any of them to freeze.
