The Saguaro Cactus is quite possibly the most famous of all cacti. This easily recognizable cactus that is often seen in western movies and other media. These fascinating cacti are huge green columnar cactus are icons of the American west and have fascinated nearly all who view their magnificence. Although these cacti can reach 50 feet tall, growing aprox. one inch per year and over 200 years to reach its full height. They branch naturally at aprox. 75 years of age and will not flower until 35 years old.
The Saguaro Cactus is easy to care for. This plant prefers direct light. It also thrives in most temperatures being able to survive in temperatures above 14 degrees Fahrenheit. Heavy rains should be avoided.

This cactus will ship bare root and will be ready to place directly in a well draining soil mix like our Custom Cactus Mix.

If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order.
If temperatures where you live will be much lower than 20℉ even heat packs may not work. You may consider waiting until things warm up a bit. We know you love your plants just like we do and we wouldn't want any of them to freeze.
