Matucana aurantiaca ssp. polzii is a rare and eye-catching Peruvian cactus, prized for its compact growth and fiery orange blooms. Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered sun. Outdoors, give it morning sun with protection from intense afternoon rays. Indoors, place near a bright window or under grow lights to encourage blooming.

Water thoroughly when soil is fully dry. During the active growing season (spring to fall), keep to a moderate watering schedule. Reduce watering significantly in winter.
