A must have for any cactus garden! Known for thier beautiful golden spines.

Echinocactus grusonii also known as Barrel Cactus can grow up to 35" in height and 70" spread. It may offset with advanced age and a few multiples occur even at small sizes.

Flowers: Flower are diurnal, vivid yellow
Blooming season: The flowers are produced from end of spring to summer only on larger mature specimens receiving enough full sun.
Echinocactus grusonii are summer-growing and pretty easy plants to cultivate.
Exposure: Outside they need a bright exposure, full sun or half shade in summer if the location is exceedingly hot or bright, inside needs bright light, and some direct sun.

LIGHT: It likes full sun

WATER: Only Water when dry.

NATIVE TO: Mexico

If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order.
If temperatures where you live will be much lower than 20℉ even heat packs may not work. You may consider waiting until things warm up a bit. We know you love your plants just like we do and we wouldn't want any of them to freeze.
