Echinofossulocactus Multicostatus (Brain Plant)

This cactus, nicknamed the brain plant, is a beautiful and unique cactus to add to your collection. The cactus features vertical ripples, long spines, and will bloom large pink flowers in the spring and summer. It is best grown in pots because of its wrinkled look, globular shape, small size, and low growth rate. This winter-dormant plant can reach up to the height of 2.5 inches.

Water: Wait for soil to completely dry out in between watering

Native: Mexico

Hardiness: These cacti can be grown outside in suitable conditions. They grow well in frost tolerance zones of -5° C (23° F) and belong to the hardiness zones of 9b to 11.

This cactus will ship bare root and will be ready to place directly in a well draining soil mix like our Custom Cactus Mix.
