Echinopsis ‘Rose Quartz’
Common Name: Rose Quartz Echinopsis
Echinopsis ‘Rose Quartz’ is a dazzling hybrid cactus celebrated for its large, luminous pink blooms that resemble the soft, elegant glow of rose quartz gemstones. Though small and modest in stature most of the year, this variety puts on a spectacular floral display—often producing massive, trumpet-shaped flowers that can span 4–6 inches across and open in the evening or early morning.
The body is typically rounded to slightly columnar, with pronounced ribs and short, bristly spines. It’s a fast-growing and highly floriferous plant, especially when given plenty of sun and a good growing season.
☀ Light Requirements
Loves bright, direct sun. Outdoors, place in full sun. Indoors, give it the sunniest window you’ve got or supplement with grow lights for best blooming performance.
💧 Watering Needs
Water thoroughly when the soil is completely dry. During the growing season (spring–summer), increase watering slightly to support flowering. Cut back in winter when growth slows.
🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Hardy to around 25–30°F if kept dry. Protect from frost and freezing rain. Add a [Heat Pack] for winter shipping to cold climates.
