Euphorbia lactea ‘Grey Ghost’
Common Name: Grey Ghost Euphorbia
Euphorbia lactea ‘Grey Ghost’ is a truly hauntingly beautiful succulent, admired for its ghostly white to silvery-grey stems and its minimalist, otherworldly aesthetic. This ultra-rare cultivar of Euphorbia lactea features sharply angled, zig-zagging branches with very few to no visible leaves, and a surface that often has subtle green marbling or faint veining.
Unlike its more common green counterpart, the Grey Ghost displays dramatic sun stress coloration—from ivory and silvery tones to pale lavender or blush under the right conditions. Its unique, sculptural form makes it a centerpiece in any collection and a prized find among Euphorbia enthusiasts.
☀ Light Requirements
Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered full sun. Outdoors, provide morning sun and afternoon shade. Indoors, a south-facing window or strong grow light will help maintain its pale, striking color.
💧 Watering Needs
Water deeply only when the soil is bone dry. This Euphorbia is extremely drought-tolerant and sensitive to overwatering. During winter, reduce watering to a bare minimum.
🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Protect from frost. Best kept above 40°F. For cold weather orders, we recommend adding a [Heat Pack].
✨ Special Features
• Ghostly White Coloring – Rare pale pigmentation with hints of lavender or green
