Euphorbia leucodendron
Common Name: Cat Tails Euphorbia

Euphorbia leucodendron, often called Cat Tails Euphorbia, is a striking, shrubby succulent known for its thin, upright, pencil-like green stems that grow in dense, vertical clusters. Native to Madagascar, this euphorbia resembles a leafless coral bush and creates an airy, sculptural silhouette perfect for containers or xeriscape landscapes.

As the plant matures, it can develop woody lower stems and a canopy of green growth above. It may flush reddish in strong sun or cooler temperatures and occasionally produces small, inconspicuous flowers at the branch tips.

☀ Light Requirements
Loves full sun to bright filtered light. Outdoors, give it plenty of sun. Indoors, place in a very bright window or under strong grow lights.

💧 Watering Needs
Water deeply but infrequently, allowing soil to dry out completely. This species is highly drought-tolerant and prefers lean conditions. Reduce watering in winter.

🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Keep above 35–40°F. Protect from frost and prolonged dampness. For winter shipping or cold regions, add a [Heat Pack].

⚠ CAUTION:
Like all euphorbias, it contains a milky sap that is toxic and irritating to skin and eyes. Handle with care and keep away from pets and children.
