Haworthia Limifolia Variegata (Washboard)
Haworthia Limifolia Variegata (Washboard)
Haworthia limifolia variegata
Common Name: Washboard Plant
Description:
The Haworthia limifolia variegata is a rare and exquisite succulent prized for its striking, variegated foliage. This unique variety of the Fairy Washboard features thick, triangular leaves adorned with a beautiful mix of creamy yellow and green stripes, creating a mesmerizing pattern that makes it a true collector’s plant.
Native to South Africa, this slow-growing succulent forms a compact rosette with ridged, textured leaves that give it its common name. Its architectural form and unusual variegation make it a standout addition to any succulent collection or windowsill garden.
Light Requirements:
Prefers bright, indirect sunlight or filtered light. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, as it can scorch the variegated leaves.
Watering Needs:
Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Like most Haworthias, this plant is highly drought-tolerant and requires minimal water. Reduce watering further during the winter dormancy period.
Temperature Tolerance:
Hardy down to 30°F with proper acclimation. Protect from frost and freezing by bringing indoors or covering during colder months. If temperatures are going to be lower than this in your area, we highly recommend adding a [Heat Pack] to your order.
Special Features:
- Rare Variegation: Beautiful creamy-yellow and green-striped leaves make this plant a collector’s dream.
- Compact Growth: Perfect for small spaces, terrariums, or windowsills.
- Textured Leaves: The ridged, architectural form adds depth and interest to any succulent display.
Other Common Names:
- Variegated Fairy Washboard
