Lobivia arachnacantha
Common Name: Cobweb Cactus

Lobivia arachnacantha is a compact, clumping cactus known for its delicate web-like spines and stunning floral display. Its dark green, globular body is wrapped in fine, white radial spines that resemble a tiny cobweb—hence its name. But don’t let its small size fool you—when in bloom, this cactus puts on a bold show with large, bright orange flowers!

Native to the highlands of Bolivia, this hardy species thrives in cool, bright conditions and forms dense clusters over time, making it a favorite among collectors and small-space gardeners.

☀ Light Requirements
Prefers bright, indirect light to full sun. Morning sun or filtered afternoon light works well. Too much harsh sun may scorch the spines or darken the body.

💧 Watering Needs
Water thoroughly when soil is completely dry. Requires excellent drainage and minimal water in winter months. Avoid watering in cold, damp conditions.

🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Cold-hardy to around 20–25°F with proper acclimation and dry soil. For colder climates or winter shipping, we recommend adding a [Heat Pack] to your order.

✨ Special Features
Delicate Webbing – Fine white spines give it a soft, cobweb-like look.
Brilliant Bloomer – Produces large, vivid flowers that contrast beautifully with its dark body.
Clumping Growth – Spreads easily to form tight mounds over time.

Other Common Names:
