Mammillaria geminispina
Common Name: Twin-Spined Cactus

Mammillaria geminispina, also known as the Twin-Spined Cactus, is a stunning and easy-to-grow species that forms dense, rounded clusters covered in a delicate web of white radial spines and short, reddish-brown central spines. The overall effect gives the plant a soft, snowball-like appearance while still maintaining that classic Mammillaria texture and structure.

Native to central Mexico, this species thrives in containers and rock gardens alike, and will eventually form a handsome mound of offsets over time. In spring or early summer, it produces charming rings of pinkish-white flowers around the top of each head—like a floral crown!

☀ Light Requirements
Loves bright, indirect light to filtered sun. Outdoors, provide morning sun and afternoon shade. Indoors, a sunny windowsill or grow light setup works well.

💧 Watering Needs
Water only when the soil is completely dry. Increase slightly during active growth in spring and summer. Reduce to minimal watering during winter dormancy.

🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Hardy to about 25–30°F if kept dry. For colder climates or winter shipping, we recommend adding a [Heat Pack] to your order.

✨ Special Features
Snowy Appearance – White spines give it a soft, frosty look
Clumping Habit – Forms a dense mound over time
Crown of Blooms – Adorned with a halo of pinkish flowers in bloom season
