Echinopsis (Trichocereus) pachanoi 'Jiimz Juuls'
Common Name: Juul’s Giant
Echinopsis pachanoi 'Jiimz Juuls', better known as Juul’s Giant, is a legendary and highly sought-after clone of the San Pedro cactus—a fast-growing columnar cactus revered for its thick, smooth ribs, bluish-green skin, and minimal spination. What sets Juul’s Giant apart is its exceptionally fat columns, nearly spineless areoles, and a waxy, glaucous coating that gives it a stunning pastel hue.
This clone has been passed down and preserved by collectors for decades and is often prized for its unique growth form and vigor. It’s ideal as a landscape centerpiece, a potted specimen, or part of a sacred cactus collection.
☀ Light Requirements
Thrives in full sun to bright filtered light. Can tolerate partial shade in hot climates but prefers sun to maintain its form and bluish color.
💧 Watering Needs
Water deeply only when the soil is completely dry. During the growing season (spring–summer), it can take more frequent watering. Reduce watering significantly in cooler months.
🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Hardy to around 25°F in dry conditions once mature. For winter orders or cold zones, we recommend adding a [Heat Pack].
✨ Special Features
• Famous Collector Clone – Juul’s Giant is one of the most iconic San Pedro varieties
• Minimal Spination – Easier to handle and perfect for aesthetic plantings
• Fast & Thick Growth – Develops chunky, impressive columns with age
